About TestTracker
TestTracker is a free, open-data explorer for UK driving test statistics published by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA).
Data Sources
All data comes from the DVSA's official statistical datasets, published at gov.uk/government/statistical-data-sets, under the Open Government Licence v3.0.
- DRT111B — Car theory tests by month and gender (April 2007–present)
- DRT111C — Car theory tests by financial year, gender and age

What is the theory test?
Before taking a practical driving test in the UK, learner drivers must pass the theory test. It has two parts: a multiple-choice section and a hazard perception video test. Candidates must pass both parts in the same sitting.
